Winter Trees

On the bike path, dried husks of seed pods cling to the tree, lit from within and hissing against each other in the breeze.

I like the "hissing in the breeze", it's conveys a beautiful image!

All I can think about is bike paths, and how there aren't any here. I want to be on a bike path today.
